energy work and magnets?

So I've read a lot about magnets and the stimulation of the 6th chakra or pineal gland on the web and I've been experimenting with it with some success and a noticeable increase it the response from my third eye, I was just wondering if anyone else has tried this and has had any noticeable differences and responses from magnetism on the chakra points. I've also noticed that when im holding some magnets in each hand I have sensations through my hands and throughout my body. Any ideas on that?
