Getting used to the sensations

I got the closest I have ever been to getting out of my body last night. While listening to an audio track of a guided meditation to getting out I began to gisualize and feel my astral body parts wiggling and lifting out. I starts with my foot and the vibrations of feeling the energy. Key for the first time scared me a bit. I tried to hold in as long as I could but the sensation was alien to me and I eventually had to stop.

I know I want more, it is just something I will need to get used to. I was wondering if anyone else has any tips in to to resolve the strangeness off the sensations faster so I fantake my experiences further. It was borderline painful for me, and created a brief amount of fear within me. How similar is this to your experiences.?
