I really enjoyed the meditation today with Atomheart. I hope I can get in on the greater group when you meet together. I can definitely feel how the energy I am able to contribute expands and multiplies with others involved. aloha all~ I'm off to bed, Hawaii time. it was truly intense that meditation we did last night I was vibrating all over even if it was only 10 minutes (which seemed like a second to me really), the energy that accumulates when people are connected is amazing.. this is a great project!
I don't think I can make the sessions, Usually they take place while I'm at work.

There wasn't anything organized, and I wanted to meditate, so I just contacted the names who were signed-on to msn--alex, atomheart. atomheart responded and so we meditated for 10 minutes. I think that because of timezones, we may have to just do things like this--get together when you can, with whoever in the group is available. The more of us doing this, the better. Better than waiting until everyone is awake and on-line, because that may never happen! I'd love an organized session, but I'm also just going to go ahead with my own daily meditation and invite others who are present whenever I can! I have to agree with Alex about working with groups of 3 people. It feels a lot more balanced and we seem to get better results. I wonder if it will work with multiples of 3?
Also it would be nice to have a female in the group. As it stands, the energy feels very masculine in nature and for me slightly out of balance as a result.
This is maybe because I am used to working in circles with both male and female participants, which in a coven was essential.

So that means because I had a preconception that everyone was male that I could only feel male energy or subconsciously I was only prepared to receive male energy.

Unfortunately, I still feel like crap due to the bad cold. When I got up this morning I had a bit less congestion, so perhaps this trend will continue.
As far as the other health issues that were more long-term, I haven't had any problems today!

I was thinking it would be nice to have a map on the website, with points marking the geographic locations of the members. It always strikes me as remarkable that we are connecting from all over the world, and it would be fun to see a visual illustration of this.
ps--I'd like to propose a meditation session that is not on msn. I really enjoyed the two msn sessions I was in on--they were fun! (finally figured out who Magical Trevor is :) ) but you know, it's a little TOO much fun :) I can get a little silly and I don't focus as well. Let's keep the msn sessions because they are helping us all to get to know each other and build a connection. I am wondering if we could also do an exercise where we pick a time, everyone translates that into their time zone, and we all meditate solo, off-line, and then later on write in and share what your experiences were. I really think that we need a structure for these focus groups. In all the circles I have been involved in, there was always a structure of some kind. We are still a very young group and always learning, but here is my proposal, the structure so to speak.
We all gather in MSN talk for a bit, just to link up with each others energies, so to speak. Also any wishes that a group member has can be raised. For example someone might want help with their Astral Projection; another person might request healing for their dad.
Then we ask if everyone is ready, when we get a yes from everyone, we then ask that all disturbing thoughts and outside influences are left behind, for the duration of this circle gathering, call it what you like.
Then we start with an opening prayer, something on the lines of:
We ask God/Goddess, spirit, our guides, whatever you feel most comfortable with to be honest.
That we may be blessed and that we may receive knowledge and understanding about our own development and also that as a group.
We ask for guidance so that any healing/work we do is performed to the best of our abilities and helped on its way. So that we are protected from any external forces that would hinder our work as a group.
You get the idea, we could take turns to type an opening prayer if people wished.
Then we cast a circle around the whole group, for protection and focus.
Next we raise the energy; we seem to be quite good at this already. When the whole group feel that enough energy has been raised, we then commence with the work in hand.
Once our work is finished we send the remaining energy into the planet the universe and the spirit realm, with the intention that it goes to places where it is needed most.
Next we say a closing prayer, something on the lines of:
We send thanks to God/Goddess, spirit, our guides for being with us and in helping to protect and guide us. We ask that all members of the group receives peace, love and light and understanding.
Then we close the circle and talk about our experiences and anything else we wish to talk about, people may leave at this point if they don’t want to discuss anything.
That’s my idea anyway, what do people think about it?

As for your idea about a meditation without MSN, I’m terrible at keeping appointment so to speak, so could we use MSN as a reminder to let people know that we are going to be doing the meditation is say 5 minutes time. Then we would all do our own meditations and then we would come back onto MSN and talk about it.
How does that sound?

Yes, I find it very difficult to concentrate on meditation while instant messaging. It would be easiest if we could at least have a 10 minute stretch of silence where we could all meditate uninterrupted, or do as Pilar suggested and do something offline.
A map would be helpful, as well as availabilities and scheduled sessions. I'm afraid I may not make many of the meditation sessions because I work all day, and my schedule on nights and weekends varies. But I'll try to be there when I can if there is something I can schedule, rather than something improptu.
I should warn you that anything ritualistic doesn't agree with me, so if "casting the circle" is the standard sort of Wiccan or ceremonial magic style casting, I probably won't join in, but I'll do something of my own that works towards the same end.
Yes, and yesterday was a little wacky because we were having trouble getting some members set up, some folks were already partway into a meditation while others were just joining, there were multiple conversations going on, etc. So some structure will be nice. I also like to keep to my personal practices, dsmoke, and don't see why there would be any problem with you doing this as well. We all practice separately and joining together should be an interesting collaboration where everyone shares from their unique p.o.v. I think Rob has a history of wiccan practice, and so that is his method, in part. I think Alex is big into bouncing up and down outdoors :D But we can all contribute in our own way. I do buddhist sitting meditation and shamanic chi gung, myself. I have just been stepping away from the keyboard to do my own practices and then coming back to chat. Cosmic Trigger Event on 17th October. Need 1-million+ people Dear Mission 1017,
We apologize for the lateness of this news. A few hurdles recently had to be overcome.
A cosmic trigger event is occurring on the 17th of October 2006. This is the beginning, one of many trigger events to come between now and 2013.
An ultraviolet (UV) pulse beam radiating from higher dimensions in universe-2 will cross paths with the Earth on this day. Earth will remain approximately within this UV beam for 17 hours of your time.
This beam resonates with the heart chakra, it is radiant fluorescent in nature, blue / magenta in color. Although it resonates in this frequency band, it is above the color frequency spectrum of your universe-1 which you, Earth articulate in. However due to the nature of your soul and soul groups operating from Universe-2 frequency bands it will have an effect.
The effect is every thought and emotion will be amplified intensely one million-fold. Yes, we will repeat, all will be amplified one millions time and more.
Every thought, every emotion, every intent, every will, no matter if it is good, bad, ill, positive, negative, will be amplified one million times in strength.

I prefer to be present at the time of the healing, even though its not neccesary.
Its so I can do my thing while the healings are taking place, while recieving up-to-date info on the guy.
You might want to consider putting together a special team to address possession/serious neg abuse issues, made up of people who have very strong shielding and alot of experience facing negs in the astral. Nikpalj's comments that "only Robert Bruce" is addressing this kind of healing might be due to the fact that one needs to have extensive experience in overcoming such things in oneself before attempting to confront them on behalf of others.
I think this particular thread/group was created to focus on meditation and raising energy, but does not necessarily contain members who are skilled in exorcism. There likely are members on the site, such as Spectral Dragon, who you mentioned, who are qualified to heal at this level. Personally, I am not a skilled exorcist and would not be able to contribute in this way.
I hear and understand your concerns. :) That's why I thought that focusing on SD's success would be a more passive way to help and would not directly connect you to Nik. I tried that once, and (maybe coincidentally), he said he good success with that particular attempt.Quote:

Personally, I think that serious neg abuse/possession issues should be dealt with separately, by a highly-qualified and experienced team who specializes in exorcism, for the safety of both the group members and the victim. I am not shielded well enough to engage in that myself, even just connecting to SD with good intentions. I am an empath, and I do not have enough experience in the astral confronting negs in this manner. I still have alot of work to do--have not even completed the AP book yet. But I think your intentions are very honourable, Scymi, perhaps you might organize something for this separately?

Yes, I was aware that shielding was something I need to work on, and was apprehensive even to join this meditation circle for that reason. It was quite telling for me when after our focus group on healing for dsmoke's cold, I woke up the next day feeling weak with cold symptoms. It took me a day to heal myself and recover my own energy, so I know that I have much more work to do on shielding and energy raising on my own self-healing behalf. Healing empathically can be dangerous, as I find. Perhaps an empath should be a counsellor, not a healer :?
At any rate, I won't be able to participate. But let's see what the others have to say. You may find some takers on this one.
Thank you, PHG, for sharing your insights. It was my understanding that the initial focus of the group was simply to 'get together and work separately', for the benefit of all, rather than to deplete ourselves of energy directing it at others who may or may not want this kind of attention. It seems to me that 'healing' intentions can be invasive; I'd rather see an attitude of 'support'. But as Alex said way in the beginning, the true goal is to achieve balance in oneself.

I see what you're saying PHG and agree with a lot of it.
As far as healing, I feel I'm being misunderstood. It's not so much a healing attempt, but rather a manifesting attempt, to envision SD's success at helping Nik. Of course, requesting that Higher Selves only allow what is safe and what is in the interest of everyone's highest good.
I feel that one of the very important elements of psychic rescue work is to free up the person a bit, to give them the breathing room they need so that they can self-heal. Personally, I know that the 'rescue' (don't know what else to call it) work with me has allowed me the space I need to start self-healing. :)
Afterall, if everyone turned a blind eye to the other folks getting beat up by the bullies on the playground, a lot of people might not have the chance to raise their vibration and add their distinctive resonance to the Universal song. :wink:
Yes, it is important to focus on your own growth which results in growth and health for the whole, but, social responsibility is also something I think is important too; caring for eachother and helping one another where and how we can.
