So this happened after my first attempt to open my third eye

I tried this technique to open up my third eye (where you chant thoh) and shortly afterwards i felt some pressure and pain where the third eye is meant to be. When i went to bed at night and proceeded to close my eyes. I started having lots of vivid visions/hallucinations. Really random things, some of them were quite scary. At times i felt like i was in another place and could feel everything that was happening there, and i suddenly jumped in fright. I also started hearing voices and noises coming from somewhere. It was all very strange and terrifying. After that i started feeling like my body was vibrating all through?
is this meant to happen , and what does it all mean? Thankyou :)

All of these symptoms are trance symptoms, and the visuals are known as hypnagogic imagery. This is normal for a deep trance or what sometimes happens when it takes a long time to go to sleep- the dreaming part of the brain produces images (and sounds too, sometimes even tactile symptoms) while you're still conscious.
The converse of this happens when someone wakes up while still paralyzed, then they're called hypnopomps.
All very normal, usually not noticed when one goes to sleep relatively fast.
