not sure if this is the preset or if it was astral noise
25 and a half minutes into the trance preset there was a noise that startled me out of everything sounded like a boat horn only softer kinda like the tones in the mind taming section is this in there or was it astral noise. if it's astral noise I'm making progress.
Re: not sure if this is the preset or if it was astral noise
I think it was astral noise. I'm pretty sure that there was no horn sound in the BWGen that I can remember.
Congrats! You're closer than you think.
Re: not sure if this is the preset or if it was astral noise
dad blasted astral gremlins can't they keep the racket down. Dang it probably blew an exit this morning because of that.
Guess I'd better read ahead eh?
Re: not sure if this is the preset or if it was astral noise
I've had the same thing happen with hemi sync a couple of times, where I hear a "beep" or bumping noise. I reviewed the track to see if there was a glitch or audio anomaly, but I couldn't find a thing! I haven't really been able to access that state of mind on command yet but hopefully I'll figure it out.
Re: not sure if this is the preset or if it was astral noise
The 'beep's, 'pop', 'screech' and ocassional screams ("No" is pretty popular, for some reason) happen randomly, and I don't know that they can be "recreated". You can reach the right state for them at the onset of trance or at it's outset, but there is no guarantee they'll happen- or when.
A side comment, not meant to derail-
I think "no" is the subconscious way of startling you out of the trance, but I don't really think it is threatened (like many speculate. I don't think the subconscious can be threatened)- I think it's a matter of how much the subject uses the word in waking life-a habit.
Re: not sure if this is the preset or if it was astral noise
I was able to get another session in before work yesterday. The noise was not repeated. I did hear a popping sound at a different spot on the preset but I didn't let it derail the trance this time. It wasn't as loud which helped. Quite a lot was happening yesterday. There was no question that there were exit symptoms after the pop. One thing I noticed is the appearance of what looked like TV snow you know when lightning's near the area with the old antanae type tv's? ( maybe I'm showing my age here )
It was like I brushed the projection reflex but didn't nail it exactly I tried rolling spinning climbing. I might have gotten too excited but it just felt like I didn't quite trigger it or it was partial. I had no vision other than the snow I also was quite dizzy at times which made me queasy. The thing I'm really happy about is that it was a two for two I got to the same place twice in a row on the same day. There was bit of a recoil from the vertigo but I caught it quick and made sure I could recreate it again. ( sort of a spinning rolling thing in my head) and I had a good sense of the astral double that was generated. Now if I could just get out. I think I'm real close. My intent was to play with the trance going into the session but when that started I decided to take a stab at getting out. I think one problem was that I had had a large meal before hand. Couldn't sleep and decided to work with something and hopefully get tired doing it. Gonna try an Ayurvedic diet see if that helps lighten things up a bit. Won't hurt me anyway thats how I SHOULD be eating.
Re: not sure if this is the preset or if it was astral noise
The vertigo is an exit sensation also- you can call it 'synched vibrations' (I sometimes call them 'end stage' vibrations also). When I get those I try to 'go' with the wave, just like you would if you were bodysurfing- try to synch with the movement and propel yourself with it. You are practically there, btw.
ps. The visual snow is a symptom of a third-eye exit, and you can phase with that also, by trying to control the vision- 'focus' in, if possible. You may feel sucked into the picture- this would be a direct astral projection.
Either way, you're practically there.
