    Daycare=lucid dreams

    Life circumstances have conspired in such a way that, for the last couple of weeks, I've had a lucid dream every single weekday.

    The girlfriend comes home from graveyard shift at 7, but has trouble sleeping unless I'm in bed with her. But the kids go to daycare at 8, so I'm forced to take them, and then come home and take a nap next to my girlfriend. During this naptime, I'm certain to have a lucid dream. I'm sure that I wouldn't have had my first OBE this morning if it weren't for these circumstances.

    That's interesting. Maybe the hectic schedule has something to do with it-

    Re: Daycare=lucid dreams

    Well, it's always been true for me that if I wake up, do things until I'm awake, and then go back to sleep (which necessarily takes a while) I lucid dream. I think it's because I'm not as deeply asleep. Whatever the reason, I've tried plenty of times to do this artificially (wake up, take a shower, or even run down the block) but I stay too tired because I know, on a conscious level, that I'm going to bed in a minute.

    So this new situation is good, because I don't have to force anything, and I couldn't in the first place.
