Making Your Own Sleeping Earthed Sheet

I've been looking at making my own grounding sheet using materials such as those found at this website: http://www.lessemf.com/fabric.html

The "EX-STATICâ„¢ CONDUCTIVE FABRIC" which is found around the middle of the page looks pretty good and is the cheapest option. However the resistance seems to be 1,000,000 ohms (10^5?) per square. I don't know much about electronics, but the more expensive fabrics are said to have resistances of like 0.5 ohms, so I assume the less is better ?

Does anyone know if that Ex-static conductive fabric would be good for sleeping earthed? It says it's ok on the website but I want to be sure myself, because the difference between 0.5 ohms and a million ohms seems like a lot to me.

Hi Jajon.
The less ohms the better.
I don't know about that specific fabric, but the closer to zero ohms the better, since resistance is expressed in ohms. One megohm is a lot- your typical wire is closer to one ohm than zero, so half an ohm is spectacularly conductive. I personally think that you can get away with up to 250 ohms and still be pretty grounded.

I suspected that 1megaohm sheet wouldn't be sufficient. I'll look for something lower than 250 in that case

Btw I've just seen a piece of fabric on there at 0.03 ohms
