I had the same problem when I was beginning, and Brian Mercer gave me good advice that I will pass on- do your sponging or bouncing with your eyes open for as long as you can-in a few weeks it'll stop happening. I did it for about a week like that and the tendency went away.

Thanks for the advice CFT I will try this. This technique makes sense, when I'm at work I try to get in 5-10minutes of tactile in working on a particular or weak areas and I do this with my eyes open. I know that my eyes dont move so this should work.
