obsessive neg on friend

Hello
was wondering if you could help my friend who seems to have quite the neg on his person. His behavior is quite obsessive with thoughts that won't stop. (of course thoughts having nothing to do with present moment realities) He is suffering greatly with anxiety, depression and pain.
His name is Scott, he is 45. He really is a sweet person through and through but greatly troubled by the mind and it's wanting to obsess over things.
He is plagued by hip pain as well and had broken his upper middle back many years ago.
any prayers, ideas, suggestions greatly appreciated.

Im sorry to contradict with what you are saying CFTraveler, but by simply talking about God, you dont get rid of Negs. you need a more practical approach. i highly recommend using garlic. i also very highly recommend a book called, "Practical psychic self-defense" by Robert Bruce. that book has practical counter-measures such as the uses of garlic, noise, music, symbols, and banishment rituals. try going to Borders and looking for it under the New Age/metaphysical section. i myself have gotten rid of a Neg that attached itself to me by following what the book said.

chips, don't forget this forum is for healing (not PPSD), although both subjects do interweave in this topic, and I think the points made so far are relevant. Even though prayer is more effective in conjunction with PPSD it is still quite a powerful healing on its own.

What I sense might help your friend is some self-empowerment strategies to help remove the negative energies around him. It can be quite overwhelming with such a neg but it can be overcome and this is not too difficult.
I think he would benefit from strengthening his own aura with NEW and using a variation of techniques to break negative energy patterns. The latter can be used as a substitute if he is not familiar with NEW.
