    dream of the rose-stone temple

    THE ROSE-STONE TEMPLE
    from a dream of May 3, 2011

The empty, glowing fish tanks formed a maze
Of chilly gray in walls of melted lead.
Each tank at random flashed in nervous bursts
Like square and lidless eyes blind in the gloom.
The darkness flooding on the floor rose up
    Into a pullulating charcoal veil
With twisting edges spinning in a ring.
But this failed to seal away the vision:
An ancient temple to the goddess Dawn.

The warmth of light was forged in megalithic
Rose stones of mammoth height cut into pillars
And shaped into a vault beyond the sky.
The pillars stood against a polygonal
Wall of stone, yet soft with its rose glow.
I only saw two pillars and between them
Within the wall a massive stained glass window.
The light, in jagged abstract patterns, reached
    With multi-colored, newborn fingers playing
In ambient laughter through the rose stone temple.

Wow, Del Dardano Turann, your imagery sounds like something I read about just an hour ago:
"The temple of inner wisdom is circular. Around it are many antechambers that give access to the central area. . . . The circular hall is of vast proportions. Around it, supporting a golden central dome, are seven pillars. . . . In the center of the temple is a round table on which is a dish of bread and salt and a cup of red wine. All who enter must partake of this meal to have a place here. The bread and salt of hospitality and the wine of fellowship are served by Sophia herself. She may appear as a beautiful crowned queen or in some other guise. . . . You may come here to meditate and to meet with those from other [spiritual] traditions. . . . Just as you may meet other pathwalkers here, you may meet guardians, saints, and mystics of many traditions."
From "Walkers Between the Worlds" by Caitlin and John Matthews.
You first enter the antechamber that corresponds to your own spiritual tradition. In this antechamber you meet its guardian. The guardian ensures you go no further, that you do not enter the inner temple, until you are ready.

What a great idea to capture your dream (?) in poetry!

Stunningly beautiful, both the dream experience & your expression of it!
