Ascending and descending Kundalini?

Without going into too much unnecessary detail, I'm developing a ritual that involves concentrating on my chakras from the top down and then from bottom up. Does anyone see and potential 'danger' to this practice?

No, Aunt Clair teaches a similar technique, using cold water Kundalini going down and hot fire Kundalini going up. There must be a thread about this somewhere.

The water in a swimming pool enters the filter through the skimmers and the drain/s.The water pushes through the filter i.e from the top to the bottom. The clean water comes back to the pooi through "returns" and the water continues to flow within this closed system.

In large community pools, it is a health requirement to backwash the filter at least, daily. The flow is reversed. Pipes are open or closed so that the flow of water goes the other way i.e. from the bottom to the top. The filter is cleansed in this manner and that water is disposed. This reversal of flow is beneficial.

The human energy body functions in a similar fashion.The skimmers and drain are the influent centres. The returns that typically stud the centre of the pool walls are the effluent centres.

The human body naturally pulls energy into some centres and out of others.
Effluent Centres flow outward from birth. These include but are not limited to;
palms
heels
Influent Centres flow inwards , naturally. These include but are not limited to;
insteps
ball of foot
crown
heart
perineum
All centres can develop to flow in and out.But some do this naturally ;
mouth
nose

The magician can draw energy through the spinal chakral column with breath, visualisation and intent. As Robert Bruce teaches the physical heart is the pump of the energy body and can direct flow, too.

The magician will find great benefit in moving energy up and down the spinal column chakras called the Tree of Life.

It is easier for the magician to pull energy up from Mother Earth with barefeet in contact with the floor or better yet the ground than it is to pull energy down the crown. So ideally we should begin with the more difficult flow from crown to toes to do the general sweep with deep breath cleansing. And we can follow on by drawing energy more strongly up the tree of life through the feet to the heart to the brow. This draws fire from the heart to the brow and charges the female tan tien with the Golden Shen which affords clairvoyance.
