    THE DAY BEFORE DISCLOSURE (Documentary)

Don't know if s.o. already posted this. I have not yet seen it by now, but from a few peaks inside, it seems to me a worthwhile documentary from Norway (Sep 2010):

(btw. the whole website "Matrixwissen / KnowYourself" is worth a read and look-through!)

Here's also the original website of the filmmakers where the film can also be viewed for free:

I watched about 30 minutes and then had to take the trash out and do laundry or something distracting like that. Can't wait to finish it tonight. Very well done and the content, well, wow.

While I believe extraterrestrials and/or inter-dimensionals are here, there's one thing about the" forbidden archaeology" approach that isn't automatically logical. It tends to assume that any evidence of advanced technologies is a sign of extraterrestrial interference but it is possible that it's merely a sign that earth humans once achieved higher forms of scientific development than we credit. I guess it's natural to assume alien influence if you're using an approach that integrates mythical stories and folk legend as well as anomalous artefacts - it's the old extraterrestrials masquerading as gods routine. There is some precedence for humans masquerading as gods (I suppose some of them even really believe/d their own press). Perhaps it's more conceivable for the alternative theorists to believe that the "gods" came from elsewhere with their own particular interests (e.g. gold), shared some technologies and even fought one another with advanced weapons that left radiation traces, than it is to believe that advanced humans wouldn't have just colonised the planet in the way with which we're familiar from relatively recent history.

I completely agree with you on this point. This is how I felt when I watched the "Ancient Aliens" program (all of which the seasons can be seen on Youtube, btw). I really like this show and many if not all of the shown evidence point to advanced civilisations in ancient (pre-historic) times.
So it is easy for me to go the "1st step" but the proponents of the Paleo-Seti theory automatically make a "2. step" which I am not yet ready to follow. Assuming 'alien/extraterrestial' influence is one possibility, which I personally would leave open for me, also with regard to what ETs (if they have an influence) are at all: I do not believe they fly around in tin cans as proposed by most UFOlogists, but are rather interdimensional beings.

However, as to the "Forbidden Archeology" / M. Cremo et al. fraction, I would say that one should distinguish him from the usual Paleo-Seti / Ancient Astronauts theorists (Daneken, Sichin, etc.). Many critics and skeptics also like to label him as a 'creationist'. This might be not incorrect as he is also rooted in the Vedic traditions. He assumes indeed 'beings' of higher dimensional order to be kind of (pro-)creators of mankind, or better: they seed by 'thinking up' but also by 'mating' with what already is anything that manifests here in this denser dimension. So I would not automatically align him with many of the other Ufologists who it seems to me have more of a 'traditional' Star-Trek-like image of alien origin. Cremo explains his "Vedic" approach at the end of the talk he is giving (see link above).

Hence, I would not put Cremo / Forbidden Archeology and the AAA (Ancient Alien Astronaut) people in one boat. They are certainly similar with their general direction and the hypotheses regarding old unexplainable artefacts, but some of the background conclusions as to their origin are a bit different.

    Agreed.

You know I have a tendency to turn off whenever anyone references Sitchin. This is because I did a debunking search, something I do quite often, and found a legitimate archaeologist on You Tube who dissected Sitchin alleged scholarship and shadowy credentials. I also found a clip showing him at a Mason gathering and he looked embarrassed about being filmed.
