Not as exciting as some of your personal lesson type dreams- I guess I'm not quite at that level yet.
Neither am I- . I'd love an Angel dream.

    Dreamstate lesson?

    Dreamstate lesson
I was in a 'college dorm' situation, where we had been studying levitation. I was semilucid because I remember levitating (initiating the action by a hand gesture) in front of someone, receiving praise for doing it, and then going to someone else's room and not being able to do it. I was wondering why in some dreams I can fly and some don't, wondering if there are 'locales' in dreamspace where abilities and interactions are different, and I briefly woke up. I went back to sleep to the same school, and now I was being held 'against my will' by a group that was simultaneously teaching me and studying me at the same time. I could fly and use telepathy (a little Heroes influence here, I think) but I was not free to leave the area. (The area was surrounded by some sort of forcefield and I couldn't fly away until the tests were completed.) My handler, who was very good looking, told me to go into this emf generator, and he exposed me to large amounts of emf. It had a large machine sound and vibrations. I asked him what this did. He said it amplifies my 'abilities'. Then I tested the telepathy part by making a mental pass at him and he smiled, indicating that he could read my mind all the time and that he liked the idea. At this point I woke up before the fun began.

I wonder what else you were about to learn! I think I'm jealous.

How did you do it? Could you describe that school more in detail?
wouldn't happpen to be a 'school of awareness' nearby. Carved in
right at the front door. Large college type of building, alot of
    people inside.

    Re: Dreams or Dreamstate Lessons?

I love training dreams! I had one dream at astral Bob school where he was teaching us how to walk through the walls. I felt embarrassed about it and he was joking about the first time he tried walking through the wall and how we were all new at it once. He was very "Go for it!" about the whole thing, very encouraging.

More training dreams lately, seems like!
Last night I dreamed I was sitting in a class drawing... it was a very evocative kind of drawing in that the images would flow out of your pen as fast as you could think about them. The teacher was urging us to come up with our own ideas and to not get inspired by the drawings of our neighbors. I was supposed to draw something that was challenging me... I drew myself as an island, isolated from areas in my spiritual development without any 'bridge' or way to get to new continents. I was curious to see if my neighbor had drawn the same thing.

Then we pinned up our drawings at the front and as we did, they would come to "life" and move with colors and we could even hear the sounds of the drawings in our heads... it was an exercise in telepathy and people would pipe up as they heard the same things. "I hear birds!" "Now I hear a dog barking!" It was really fun and neat to see if you could match what other people were hearing as well. It seemed to be an exercise in expressing yourself as well as proving in a short time how evocative you could be in sharing an idea to the group. There was a strong emphasis on the clairaudience/telepathy portion of the lesson. Some people in the class could not hear anything at all.

my girlfriend (who knows practically nothing about OBE/LD etc...) turned to me OUT OF THE BLUE and asked quite 'matter of factly' 'What does it mean if I have this recurring dream about being at a school or campus, with others, and I am learning some kind of 'lesson' and I have never seen an instructor, but once I completed my task, i was done, but I COULD NOT FIND MY CAR!!!?" WWWOOOOOWWWW!. I spent some time, carefully, explaining the implications of what she reported to me, and what Dreamstate lessens mean to me, and others. And that the basic 'formula' of her dreams are the basic 'formula' that dreamstate lessens occur for many people... I told her, kinda joking, it was the REAL Hogwarts... (Sorry CFT, I used yer line )

I'm glad this topic was resurrected. Last night I dreamed that I drove to a smaller town to take a class at the state college there, and it made me uncomfortable as it seemed to be some kind of black magic course. I kept the textbook on the off chance that it might come in handy, but decided I wouldn't return for subsequent classes. I've never once dreamed about any negative occult education - very strange.
