Based in this theory, all cultures had people who fly, and that was people related to meditation and energy techniques.
The technique is simple
you have to concentrate energy, specially in the back, where the (elephant,spirit saint) resides,
you can do it by staying quiet about 14 hours,
then you can wake up and mentally imagine energy on you lower back pushing upwards, and tachan you can fly

Well that is the technique it's not me.

I think it's far more about belief (or actually, a lack of restricting belief) than about technique. Without the belief (or lack of restricting belief), you can use techniques until the cows come home and nothing's going to happen.

Or interpretation. OBE/AP can be very much like flying, and a culture who sees the dreamworld as 'objectively real', may see a projector, a shaman, as someone who flies, and write about them this way. They know what they mean, we may not.
