It's been filmed by several amateurs in different countries. Also it's said that many eye-witnesses confirmed having seen it with telescopes etc.

It is claimed that it is no technical artifact, an optical illusion or an (Earth) athmospheric cause, which would be obvious choices for explanations.

We all know the Moon is strange already, not just in mythology. It influences people's moods and sleep, menstrual cycles, crime rate rising or bad sleep at full moon.

Then there's the so-called "moon illusion" (too big) where even the 'rational skeptics' at Wiki seem to admit that they do not exactly know since there are several hypotheses:

I found this interesting now because I didn't know that there was no 'definite' explanation for it.

And then the entire theories about an artificial artifact or "spaceship" created by ETs and that it should not be there or is even impossible from a probability viewpoint. Yeah and that Moonlanding hoax theory... but I do not want to get into that now at all. Ah yes, let's not forget that of course Werewolfs like to do their morphing during full moon.

Back on topic: what do you make of this (new) phenomenon? If you can watch the entire vid please (or both) because he tells some interesting stories, also about the debunkers and gives some facts and explains why the common skeptic arguments do not hold water, in his view, of course.

Similar film, two months earlier. It describes the "pulse" emanating from the south pole a bit more and links to some Russian research:
