Try not to let this become ingrained habit. Beliefs (and doubt is a form of belief, or, rather, disbelief, but it's the same kind of energy) can and do play havoc with this sort of pursuit.
Yes, it's normal. There are periods of adjustment and times when things are "quiet" and "not very interesting" and other times when things are like "holy crap, just how deep does this rabbit hole go?!" (hint: it's bottomless ) or you're walking around in a haze of existential angst, or your reality wobbles so hard you can't navigate in it, and on and on. Fluctuations and ebbs and flows are totally normal and to be expected.
Just keep doing what you're doing, don't get too worked up if you can't perceive change or sensation or whatever, and in time, it'll flip around and be something else (who knows what; it's very individual).
May the light surround you, may you be blessed. May the light surround us, may we be blessed. May love and light surround us all, and may we all be healed and blessed. And so it is, and so it shall be, now and ever after.
