am i experiencing a spiritual awakening?

I was doing a search on spirit guides and just so happen to run into this site. I have had quite a few of experiences I would like to share and would like to know what you all think..This usually happens when I lay down for bed. While lying on my back,sometimes on my side, I start to feel a kind of energy or electric surge that runs through my spine and eventually hits every part of my body....when it hits the top of my head ( scalp) it feels like an intense tingling sensation. Then I start to feel as if I am being "pulled" I guess you can say, from this world into the dream world. The second I go under, I start to experience lucid dreaming,but all while still feeling this intense energy/tingling (usually more intense in my back and top of my head) while in the dream world, I dream of walking around where ever it is I "fell asleep" at (my house...) one night when I went under, I was walking around my house,all while feeling the energy, but I had an eerie feeling and was desperately trying to wake myself up..i had even slammed my head into a wall thinking it would make me wake, but all it did was make me feel like i hit my head on a bunch of pillows..well finally whatever it was that had hold of me let go and I was able to wake up... the exact same thing happened to me a few weeks ago while at my boyfriends house, only the energy i felt started in my right arm ( i injured that arm).then it went on and moved to my spine and up to the top of my head,then the whole lucid dreaming happened....this also happened once,again at his place, while i was sitting on his couch,but this time i felt an intense warmth in the air hitting my whole body,especially my face.. ( i was alone/no lucid dreaming)..2 be honest, it scared me a bit,but is also an amazing feeling...also,there are times out of the blue when I feel a warmth on my face then right away a tingling at the top of my head,all through my scalp... I have not done any meditation, but I did read that sometimes this can happen out of nowhere to certain people..an awakening....may i ask what you all think?? I have other experiences, but i figure this will do for now

I think you were having exit sensations. If you want to explore this, then start meditating.

May I ask what exit sensations are? I honestly don't know anything about this stuff.. but I would like to start reading and researching all of it...meditating as well......

ah,thanx.....may i add though, this also happens when i am not resting/getting ready for sleep...to be honest, i had even gone to a doctor to see if there is anything wrong with me,but nothing could be found...

thats pretty cool. If you are interested in spirit guides you might wanna read sylvia Browne's book on them. I read it and learned alot. Good luck with your journey on the spirtual path.

Is it really spontaneous or is it we just don't realize whats going on until we think that we have officially left sanity behind?

A little of both. The only thing that makes me think I'm not as crazy as I think I am is that sometimes I seem sane and sometimes I seem to have more crazy stuff happen than others, making me think that it's not just me.
And if you can understand this you're as crazy as I am.
