puzzled ...

hi , i dreaming something usual when the it went lucid.. i was holding a black cloth (hankerchief size) . suddenly, the black color brought the idea of evil in my head. i felt it asked me something and i approved what it asked in someway. Then i thought no i was a 'man of God' suddenly i was pulled in one direction (horizontally). Speed increased and i saw plane texture that resembles to the texture of the cover of the book astral dynamics. I crossed great distance after that i started moving vertically down. I recalled there were seven or so astral planes i moved down ten levels of same textures when fear of death entered my mind and i forcefully opened my eyes....
was this an astral projection?
was the fear natural ?
