It seems to me Bruce sells the DVD only from his website. I had to order it online from Germany and waited for weeks for it arriving from the US, as even Amazon.com does not seem to carry it.

I did "Iron Shirt" once for a month or too, and it definitely helped learning things. It teached me a bit about my body as well. Chia's style of explaining this made it very hard to learn it from a book, though. "Iron Shirt" is a bit confusing a book, and sometimes information is described very minimally.
The practise of "Iron Shirt" can in the long run reduce body sensitivity, as it is intended to make the body impervious to attack, not more sensitive. Qi packing is a bit controversial as well - I stopped it after I had read several sources that this should at least be monitored properly. In his appendix on Qigong Bruce Frantzis describes in this book possible dangers from Qi packing, but he also describes doing "Iron Shirt" in his "Power of Internal Martial Arts" - I think it depends on how you do it and where you learned it.

I tried it out a bit, and used dissolving to clear up the Orbit vessels. Worked extremely well. When I did revisit the orbit after months of cleaning, this happened: The energy was running strongly, I even got something close to "astral noise" - the first complete circulation completed I got a sound like a gigantic high voltage circuit snapping shut. After three revolutions my whole spine area had warmed up quite a bit, and was actually hot now, so I broke up there.
Bruce Frantzis beginner Qigong sets include one called "Marriage of Heaven and Earth" which in turns first does a Small Circulation and then a Grand Circulation, combined with movement. It had a good clearing effect after Dissolving, like flushing out the residue with a tinkling effect, is energising, and helps train opening and closing the joints of the body as well. It is recommended to do "Energy Gates" first to help train the nerves for the upward current. It is available currently on a DVD.
