The main issue with using any crossed leg position is that this will make it difficult to stimulate and raise energy through the legs, especially when you do both legs together. This added complication makes serious energy work much more difficult than it needs to be.

There is no issue with doing OBE from this crossed leg position. It is also easier to OBE from a sitting position. Much more difficult when done in bed.

But feel free to experiment.
