My magnetic skull: has it to do with Kundalini?

Hi there all:

I use to participate in astralpulse.com, and I've found by chance this forum.

For some years I've been practicing NEW, and nowadays I'm improving my MCO (taoist yoga's microcosmic orbit) combined with sex energy.

Since some months I've been feeling like an electromagnetic hat in my head, just as if the middle upper half of my skull would disappear. It stays there, even if I'm excited or calmed down, rested or tired... no matter the state, the head is pleasantly chopped, and above my brows there's nothing, just something like magnetism, to say something.

Added to that I have the feeling as if the dream world and the real world would be getting closer. Weird feelings, indeed.

Is all of this related to kundalini awakening?

I don't have any answers, just to think you have stimulated your crown chakra a lot, and your clairvoyance is about to take a leap forward. As to kundalini, are you having other symptoms, beside the altered state?

I have no other symptom, so I'll think it's a sahasrara effect (or maybe the first symptom, who knows).

Within each tan tien upon the spine there are two spinal chakras.

The violet chakra of the crown remains alone unbound in a stone . But it prefigures the manifestation of a greater stone .Magicians feel energies above the crown and see this energy as silver , white and gold . It is correct for it is all of these together . This is where the enigma of the white silver cube forms which binds with the black/ gold cube to form the cosmic chain of tan tiens like an ouroborous . And when the polarity is reversed this is where they are loosed from each other and the white/silver is above and the black/gold is below again .

Crowley spoke of the black cube . Others have written of the mystic heart of gold . These form separately and join beneath the feet of the magician above the omega aperture.

Every yin will have its yang as Robert Bruce says and the reciprocal of the black cube is the white cube at the alpha aperture .

Over time ,energy body development will afford a new tan tien to manifest above the crown where you feel these electromagnetic energies . It is chartreuse or yellow green . The elemental nature is hermetically air and magnetic .

Yes indirectly because Kundalini emancipates this and all development but imo what you describe is not directly related tp one of the kundalini events .

I didn’t even know about sex energy in the past. But one day I was wandering off in a book store and I found, by chance, a book called “Sex energy” by one of Mantak Chia’s pupils. I had fun reading about testicle breathing and such kind of expressions, but I didn’t give it much importance.

Time later, I realized I had mastered other sorts of techniques (as NEW), and that I could take advantage of my sex energy (really present in my life). So I put it to work and the main conclusions are the following ones:

- This energy is far more powerful than prana, chi, or whatever.
- Once you’ve practiced it the rest of energy exercises are easier to accomplish (the paths get opener).
- It’s quite pleasurable, but one day you can find yourself trapped by it. In fact sex energy is really of animal nature, so you must be careful (especially if you are a man) not to end up like a porn star.
- It’s not so taming as it can be the others. I mean, for a man is far easier to lose his sex energy, so in its practice you must be careful.
- It’s really important to ground after its practice.

As you have deduced, basically it consist in generating sex energy (by mind or physical means) and moving it, in taoist’s case, along the MCO.

The feeling of sex energy in the spine is very impressive. It "fills" more than the other ones. It's better to combine its ascension with breathing, because it eases things.

I tried this practices, too, but I find them rather unsettling. Yes, there were enormous amounts of energy contained, and it could help opening things, but I am not so sure this is how this energy is to be used anymore. Somehow it feels like a shortcut to me. I am no fan of shortcuts in development, but of course you may disagree.

It is at least a risky path, and if you can handle it safely, you are a lucky individual.

But as you practice it (I've been doing it for some years) you start to see its tricks and how to handle them. Sex and subconscious are very related, so it's easy to get trapped in fantasies linked to your traumas. If you put your eye in doing it clearly and based in love the risk is lesser.

In tarot, I read sex energy is related to Devil. I can agree to some point, because it's easy to start a daily routine to increase your energy charge, and to end up having sex just for "animal" pleasure.

Anyway if you get to a point where too much energy is stored and you're unable to handle it, just release it (sexually, of course), just to start over in some days.

I agree with what both of you have said here that sexual energy or ching can be addictive and "unruly" . It can lower the vibration substantially and I would not agree with grounding in this case . Grounding is a settling of the energy body by lowering the vibration somewhat as in the case if someone is "floating off the ground" or" off with the faeries".

Sexual energy used with mutual consenting partners can be very balancing and empowering . It is a good reason to promote monogamy . A magician will suffer in a relationship with an unaware partner . But two magicians who partner will prosper and heal each other and become stronger in love and stronger in energy .

I agree. It's like a cauldron of energy. Added to it, it's said that when you have sex with a partner you take a bit of his/her energy and vice versa, so you could end up having a mess of sex energy if you use to fly from flower to flower (a Spanish idiom).

Just theories, I don't really know. But partner-sex is far better, more if it's mixed with love.

Anyway, Aunt, it's supposed that sex energy is converted into a spiritual one by the effect of sahasrara. But the truth is that after having practiced for some days in a row, you get overexcited (not sexually, but mentally). So there has to be something else in the formula it's escaped to me.

I don't have much experience with it, but it seems a bit simple that by circulating sexual Jing into the brain via the spine should generate Shen...

At least Mantak Chia seems to indicate that, maybe I am wrong. He even formulates it that way as if the actual sperm (he has separate volumes for men and women) is circulated somehow, but that can explained by translation issues, perhaps? His books vary strongly in quality of translation, formatting, etc.

It just seems too easy, but maybe it's just me thinking complicated? *shrugs*
