My techs & Link to Rope Technique

"1- If I'm having vibrations (heavy) but am still in-body, I try the rope technique. If it doesn't work, I wait for hypnagogics. Then ask for help. If this doesn't work, but am fully in trance (seeing things, etc.) I try to get up. It works about 95% of the time, and I'm always surprised when it does.
2-If I'm not having vibrations, but have a feeling of movement associated with an exit, then I go with the movement. Rocking, falling forward, Having some sort of fit-like movement (lateral rocking; very disconcerting). I find the rhythm, then go with it. It works rather well. Sometimes I 'click out' but come back quickly to.
3-No exit symptoms whatsoever, but mild hypnagogics. I listen to my ear hiss and try to capture the images. Once I start to separate tones and can focus on the lower one (don't ask me why), the images slow down and I can focus on whichever I want. Then I can merge into it.
How the merging happens- Once I see the image clearly, and it's in front of me (as opposed to flying by) it becomes 3-d, and I focus on the space of it, on an object to the far back of it. Then I will feel forward movement, and will 'fall into' the scene. I consider this one phasing. "

    Chanting

I say the number "1" while in a deep trance. Works every time. Plus, even after I exit, as long as I keep saying "1", my perception of the entire OBE is more clear with less skips and glitches than ever before. While saying "1", I feel like I can stay in the RTZ forever, or for as long as I choose to.

I've tried saying "2x + 1" while in deep trance, but the effect is either a total black out with memories coming back way after the OBE is over, or a variation of my experience of saying "1" while in deep trance. I've noticed that reality fluctuations happen when I change the numerical input.

My OBEs while under, let's say, "mode 1", where I initiate the OBE with the number "1" while in deep trance, happen in the RTZ. I can stay in the RTZ for as long as I say "1". Every time I say "1", it somehow, for me, renews the clarity of the RTZ, and keeps me from going into the astral.

    Sit Up

Although i am by no means an expert, i have been working at this lately with sucess to the point I could get everything out but my head. I only know this because my thoughts seem to still be in my physical head while the rest of me just floated around waiting for it to release. I tried different things and all they succeed in doing was draing my energy.

Anyway this morning I did it and the technique that seemed to work was a v-sit up rather fast (also known a jack knife situp) That seemed to do the trick. It was enough force to 'trick' my head into coming with me.

And I knew worked as my thoughts were my etheric body and I looked upon my physical body.

After that though has created a whole slew of questions.

    hope that helps.

I call that my 'method of last resort'- If all else fails, get up. The worst thing that can happen is that you actually physically get up, and that would mean you weren't in deep enough yet. I'm glad to see it has a name.

    A few more

I couldn't find these in other places, so I'll add these:

Waterskiing- Imagine you're pulled by a boat, and try to recreate the feeling of movement.
Surfing- if you've ever bodysurfed, this will be familiar: lean into this imaginary wave (especially good when you're feeling floaty) and go down the wall, fast. Now that I think of it, anyone who surfs knows how to do this, just skip the 'getting up on the board' part.
    Roll out- Self explanatory.
Bounce up and down a trampoline- recreate the feeling, works best if you've done it before. And who hasn't? (rhetorical question, don't answer it, please!)
And there's washing hands, and the Steam engine, in which you imagine a big wheel with handles on the sides, and you roll forward on it, and feel it pull you up. Something like a loom, this type of thing.

Phasing has it's own thread and it's stickied, so look for it.

    Re: Exit Techniques

Has anyone ever tried one of Lucidology Man's "fast" and "movement free" ( ) exit methods?

I like his videos btw. I like his light-hearted take on it. It is without any esoteric, occultist or technical language.
You get the impression that OBE is just another normal type of sport.

Thanks Volgerle for finding this- it's a nice addition to the techniques.

I liked the video- he used to have some of these in the old Saltcube site. *waves at Nick*

I've tried the Gravity press and the inverse gravity press. The inverse g.p. worked well for me, better than the original g.p.
Limb creation sounds good- especially when you're in a recliner. I can think of a few times I could have used it.
I really really like the magnets- I can see this working really well with one of those bilocation episodes.

I have something to say however, to a comment he makes in the video, and that is that there are no 'all or nothing' gambles- any exit method can be used and if unsuccessful the practitioner can go back into a trance induction and deepen the trance- there is a myth out there that there is only 'one' window and if you miss it you miss it- however, if you have the time, you can try again.

If I may ask, how do you suppose that works? And how did it first occur to you to use that technique? Did you read it somewhere?
