Re: Consequences of a Kundalini Awakening

Be careful with kundalini experiences guys. When I was a member of a kundalini survival and support forum, most of the people there had experienced awakenings that were very intense and caused them a lot of pain. Kundalini is a powerful force inside all of us and it's best to let it awaken naturally, instead of trying to force it by spending numerous hours in meditation.

I awakened my kundalini by meditating and I thank God that I haven't suffered any negative consequences, but I know of many who weren't so lucky. I haven't gained any special powers. My health is great and I look younger than my age of 30, but that's about it. Tread carefully.

Are you serious? You've never heard about the potential difficulties and even dangers inherent in Kundalini awakening? Or are you referring to something else?

I think he means in this thread. I only saw one poster advise against it. Most said be careful, but it's worth it, etc.

*nod* Fair enough. Trust me to misread something (weird stuff going on in my reality, odd stuff popping up from all kinds of places; apologies for my strange perception/reaction).

That's because you've read the entire forum. I had to go back to read the entire thread to realize what was going on.

My kundalini is acting up right now. I think it is trying to help me fight off a virus, but man is it ever heating me up.

Kundalini can awaken on it's own without any provocation or you can take many other ways to make it rise.
Have at a look at this thread and see what appeals to you.
