Anyone know of videos of waving form Tai Chi?

I've searched long and hard but I cannot find one single video showing Tai Chi in it's Waving form. I know Erle Montaigue has a DVD available but it's £30, I'll definetly be getting that one day but until then I just want to SEE this form.

Does anyone know of any online videos showing someone performing waving form Tai Chi?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

I have occasional dreams where I seem to know how to do this hand-waving kind of Tai Chi (and I have never had a class in it in my life). I really seem to know what I'm doing within the dream, too.

Very interesting, can you describe the movements if they aren't too hard to describe? The hand movements (or any movement) of waving form tai chi are indeed extremely difficult to describe, hence why it cannot be taught probably.

Could you please explain what you mean by "waving"? There are several Taiji styles out there, but I have not seen them characterized as "waving". Is this non-traditional or just descriptive, a special variant, a form special to a teacher?

Well, it's kind of a stretch I think ... because I have only seen people practicing Tai Chi in the park, and from a great distance at that. But yet somehow their fluid motions triggered a series of dreams for me where I seemed to be performing the same movements (but, again, how would I know what those movements were if I only saw them from a distance?). This is probably not a great comparison, but I think of it as a slow-motion version of Hawaiian Hula dancing.

Well, it's not a Tai Chi form exactly, but a way of performing Tai Chi (or simply a way of moving) that matches the internal flow of chi massively increases energy flow and the benefits and effects of tai chi. It cannot be taught, only learned from inside when the practitioner is ready, at least ten years of practise is required apparently. Here are some links from Erle Montaigue describing it (he's the one with the DVD available):

I'm so interested in actually seeing it, but it looks like I'm going to have to wait until I can get the DVD.

I emailed Erle Montaigue asking him to put up a vid of waving form on youtube and he already has one up (which failed to return on the youtube search).

    Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_iOOIYO5IJY

You don't see much, it's the bit at the end. Looks like regular tai chi just more wavy.

Does this look anything like the tai chi in your dream luciddreamer?

Yes, it does! I was shocked at how close my dream motions have been to real tai chi. I've been trying to imitate the motions in the video for the last five minutes or so, and have been getting sensations running up and down my spine. I'm going to have to look into this some more, for sure....

Hii there, I am a tai chi student. (just recently started out) I have searched online for tai chi videos, most of them you can find in youtube and many of them are ok. But Tai chi movements are special, they have to be exact and right angled, I don't think you can learn it exactly right from online videos. It's nothing sort of slow motion hula dancing, When done correctly, it raises your helath and mental awareness. Not only that it has certain kung fu arts in it too.
