dream in a dream

last night i had a dream,lucid or not,i dont know..i dreamt i was sleeping and dreaming..and i dreamt in that dream some bad things,i was scared and afraid of something,i was among some buildings with some friends of mine..trying to woke up but i couldnt and it was driving me mad..at one moment in that dream my friend hugged me and we flew over the buildings,that was the only part of it where i felt fine..but we went down and i walk up,not in reality but in that dreaming dream and was so scared that i couldnt get rid of that feeling,and just wanted somebody to help me..and then suddenly i woke up in reality,all sweaty,for real and realised it was ALL a dream..what do you think of that?

I get those all the time. It's a false awakening, and can be used for OBE, if fear can be conquered.

i used to have OBEs,and was much dedicated to that,but in the last few months not much..

Hi.

I've had dreams I am asleep in bed and wake up , only to find I'm dreaming. Lucid, but with no control . These are very odd occasions but 'real' non the less. The funniest thing is that When I wake from these dreams in a dream I feel like I am seeing into the past. Perhaps this might not account for you because your realtime friends were with you.

exactly.and friemnds that i am really close to in the present..i see it as some kind of sign maybe..for example,i planned a trip to this city next weekend but i am not sure will i go..but few days ago i dreamt that my friend is showing me a map and pointing to that city,dont know if i should take it as a sign to go..
