Energy work before sleep

I´ve heard that doing energy work before sleep is not reccomended since it can make it harder to sleep.
Why is this?

I did it before sleep and I had what felt like nightmares although I couldn´t remember anything.
Could my energy body be more open to attacks ( or invite entities easier )since I energized it?

Energy work stirs things. Stir things enough and you don't get rest.

When I ground properly, neutralise properly, energy work does not disturb my sleep. I even fall asleep easily. I think the problem is more energy raising or getting energy moving without properly grounding and neutralising afterwards. Leaves energy in your circuits that keep you'll going and won't let you fall asleep.

If you really think a nightmare is indicative of an attack, then cheese pizza before bed time is an invitation for negs, too. If you want to get to rest, don't put your body's systems to work before - heavy food makes you digest. Energy raising makes your energy body work to properly utilise and absorb it.
