The Roll-out: This astral technique is used by a lot of people and almost always works. While you reach the sleep paralysis or total relaxation state, and are sure you can’t feel your body; make the movement of rolling to one of your sides. While you’re doing this, try to visualize your astral body rolling out of your body in the direction you’re rolling. You should now be in your astral body. In this case try to find a mirror or something and visualize being sucked into it. That should do the trick and take you into the astral projection effectively.

The Sit-up: It’s name is pretty self explanatory. Once you reach the sleep paralysis state or get the vibrations, try to sit up, visualizing your astral body sitting up. Once you’ve sat up, your legs should still be stuck in your physical body. Now, try to jump up and you should shoot like a rocket up to the ceiling. Just try to control yourself so you wont start bouncing around all over the place, and move as far away from your body as you can. This also may result in an Ethereal projection, just do the procedure I mentioned earlier and things should turn out fine.
