That's why I want to get IR goggles. To see if there's something 'else' you can see at night with the lights off. So now you know what to get me for Christmas.

Maybe electric and magnetic fields detector. That could be also interesting. If there is a way to display it in some kind of viewer it would be good. Don't know if that kind of technology is commercially available.
Instead of IR goggles maybe a thermo vision camera. Might be better to see things.
