    Dawn is Coming

I think I'm almost ready to wake up. Getting here has been hard, but the final realization will probably be harder. It's no longer an issue of getting there, as indeed it never was. There are still some things holding me in the dream, but as I become aware of them they slowly start to lose their hold. For the longest time, I have been looking for a Knowing that never existed. My thoughts have led me many places, but they can never lead me to truth. There is no knowledge that can enlighten me, no knowledge that can set me free. Knowing, in a way, seems to be the greatest trap of all.

In seeking security and safety I have effectively closed myself off from being awake. To be secure is to be confined, limited, enclosed within boundaries. I have to give that up to step from the dream into realization. And I think I'm very close to being ready for that. There is still fear, but it's hold on me is slowly growing weaker. There is a lot of uncertainty. But uncertainty isn't so bad when you remove judgment from the equation.

It seems like, now, that so much of my fear and struggling has been habit. A state of being perpetuated because it was given momentum. But the steam seems to be running out.

My ego is scared. I can feel my body's heart constricting with the fear. But it won't last forever. It can't.

I'm so close...so close to being here.

Yes. Exactly. We generate a self-constructed reality and self-image, and we feel safe or at least familiar, and as long as we hold onto all that, we can't see anything else.

    Perfect. That's exactly right, too.

Most of what we, as humans, do is habit. The thoughts we think, the beliefs we believe, the way we perceive things, all of it.

Best advice I can give is to do everything in your power to stop struggling, and to just totally let go. If you feel disoriented, don't try to find a reference point or a handhold, just stay in the freefall (it's only an illusion, and you WILL adjust to the new perspectives).

Also note that for many people, awakening comes in stages. It's not unlike the way you might wake up and then doze off a little while longer and then wake again, etc. It's not always an "all in one go" thing, though it can be. It does seem to be fairly individualised.
May the light surround you, may you be blessed. May the light surround us, may we be blessed. May love and light surround us all, and may we all be healed and blessed. And so it is, and so it shall be, now and ever after.

what you are seeking can not be found.

if you rest the realization will come to you.

Me too! I get frustrated if I can't do something well right away. Just wanted to let you know you're not the only one.
