i've signed up for a 10 day retreat at a Vipassana centre.

has anyone been on one of these retreats?
any thoughts on it?

Haven't been to one, although I just recently saw these 10-day retreats while I was looking for information on Vipassana meditation. You'll have to let us know how the experience goes, it looks very interesting.

I would be too!

I think it's great that they're free, and the teachers are all volunteering their time. I may look at doing one myself once I free myself from the corporate chains that bind me

right now I'm on the overnight train...
Surrounded by Russians drinking vodka, there's such an exciting atmosphere.
Everyone on some kind of adventure...
Man these reclining seats are comfy!
