    alpha - theta

    Hi all,
I have recently purchased the Hemi-Sync 'Journeys Out of the Body' CD set and cannot find information regarding what actual brain wave states the CD's are trying to induce. Do they induce Alpha in condition A and Theta in condition D? Does anyone know for sure?
    Thanks

In Here there is an email link for questions about the product- products@glidewing.com . I suggest you email Bob Felix with the questions.
If I were going to guess, I'd say that they all get you to theta, the latter ones keep you there longer. But that's just my guess.

I'm just curious why you guessed theta CFTraveler? I would have thought delta, as that's what bwgen uses for OBE exit attempts.

    Re: alpha - theta

Just a guess. It is my understanding that theta is the desired result for lucid dreaming and OBE, since delta is supposed to be where dreamless sleep occurs.

However, I have projected listening to Super Sleep, which is supposed to take you to Delta. So of course, 'results vary'. And I did not know that, btw (that BWGen used delta for exit attempts.)

It looks like most of the bwgen obe presets go down to 4 Hz which is just on the border between delta and theta according to the link you gave me, although bwgen calls it delta (it's hard to define a solid line between states).

Yes, it definitely is, and I think the user varies- I'll bet that everyone will get a variant on the third beat depending on their level of focus and even on what's going on when they're listening to them.
ps. I remember reading some literature in which there were levels of delta and theta, like 'low delta' and 'high theta' and I'll bet there isn't much difference.
