    The Affirmations Paradox

It has been said by many that one must state affirmations in the present tense.

For example, "I am in a perfect state of health," or "I am financially abundant."

However, it is said by others that doing this is counterproductive, for it tricks one's subconscious into believing that these things are already true, and therefore nothing needs to be done to achieve these results because they are already present.

What is your opinion on this?

    Re: The Affirmations Paradox

    G'day,

When affirmations are set in the future, they tend to stay in the future.

When in the present, a kind of vacuum is created. Life moves to fulfill the vacuum.

One must be careful to use common sense when phrasing affirmations.

ITs okay, for example, to say that something is healing, or is growing stronger each day, or is appearing, as these relate to the present.

It's not efficient to say that something is going to happen or will appear in the future.

This is a bit tricky, but it works.

It is easy to generate confusion through discussion of these things when personal experience and success with manifestation are lacking. One can get caught up in the grammar and etc.
