Kurt recently made his AC263 available - The Human Culture Zone. Beyond what he already replied to you he also writes in that ACs that books often demark a location in the mental plane. You might want to compare what you experienced to the different stages Kurt went through.

As Kurt relates there, the contents of the mental plane arrange themselves for the perceiver according to the questions you bring along when entering. Being interested in alternative medicine you found your way to a lesson about homeopathy. It could be that you actually downloaded this information even if you did not recall more of the experience. Energies like that can continue to guide our intuition even if not consciously remembered.

You can also compare AC227 (Tour of the Akashic Records) to get a feel for it. My hunch would be this wasn't the akashic records, at least as Kurt describes them, but rather the lower mental plane, where for example human history and world views are accessible.
