That's wonderful buttercup. This makes me happy, as I have two kitties I love.
Anyway, as a datum that you may already know (but may be beneficial to other cat parents out there) a trick to do if an inside kitty escapes and gets lost, is to put their stinky cat box outside by the front door and give it a good rattle. Apparently, they can smell their own poop and will recognize it and find the house if they are disoriented.
