Oh, I'm not afraid of other people's power, I'm afraid of my own power, the power to create the wrong thing. That's the thing for me.

Had exactly the same issue, I afraided to affect other's people karma. Still do. That's why I avoid having children.

Edit: now that I think that it is an interesting question in itself... Just heard another thing:

It takes power of a god to create realities you want it to be. But then [after creation] you got quickly bored.

An this has a lot to do with use of power - and fear behind it...
