Are they capable of intense emotional pain? I understand your description of emotional capability vs. the need to express it (which is prob. why they are not as violent or destructive as us, (a different nervous system and a different system of concepts to go with it) but I wonder if their idea of 'evil' is intense emotional pain, which would make sense from the point of view of a being that doesn't know what to do with it, therefore it closes itself off from the 'collective'. Did you get that impression from your contact with it, or was the impression more primal-fear related?
